Traditional Catholic Rite of Baptism for Paul Benedict Marie A. Balza

On February 14, 2010, Paul Benedict Marie Balza, was baptized in the Traditional Catholic Rite. The baptism ceremony was held after the 12:30PM Traditional Latin Mass (Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite) at St. Margaret Mary's Church in Oakland, California, USA. The officiating priest was Canon Jean Marie Moreau of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest. After the Baptism portion, baby Paul was consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary; followed by the the Churching of Women (a blessing given by the Catholic Church to mothers after recovery from childbirth -- this practice originated from the early Christian ages).

  1. Thanks for posting this video. I myself am getting my son baptized in the traditional rite at an SSPX church this month.
