Feast of the Immaculate Conception (Dec. 8, 2009) and Act of Total Consecration to Mary

The culmination of the 5-week preparation for the Total Consecration to Mary according to St. Louis de Montfort's True Devotion at St. Margaret Mary ended on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. A Solemn High Mass was celebrated and we were joined by Fr. Eric Forbes (OFM CAP) who gave the homily. After the Creed, the Blessed Sacrament was opened and Canon Moreau led the congregation in reciting the Act of Total Consecration to Mary. After Mass, a candlelight procession took place around the neighborhood of St. Margaret Mary while the Rosary was being prayed along the way. The procession ended at the grotto where Canon Moreau led the 2nd part of the Consecration (See certificate below; this is recited everyday by the seminarians of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest in Gricigliano, Italy).
